I finally got a chance to upload the kitchen photos I took just before our condo got rented out. It’s been a while since I posted the before pictures. (Apologies in advanced as I’m no photographer.) I love how far it’s come along and I’m so happy the bulk of the work is finally behind me. I was a little sad to part ways with the completed kitchen, but since the kitchen in our apartment is brand new, I lucked out being the first to break this one in! ;D
A little side by side action of the before and after:
The biggest change that I wanted besides updated appliances was countertop space. Because we have a huge walk in pantry, we chose to forgo the pantry cabinet on the left of the sink. I loved having that extra space, especially when Bruce would unexpectedly pull up his chair and help me pour ingredients into a bowl and mix. 😉
Our kitchen is pretty small so there’s not much to share but here’s a few more photos for your viewing pleasure:

our quartz countertops
And one more before and after shot from the dining room:
Goodbye broken EVERYTHING! I know the photos make it look cold and clinical but the grays are a lot warmer in person. I did come to the realization though that if I was to move back in, I’d paint the kitchen a nice pop of color… Maybe yellow? 🙂 But for now, we can call this project done and have our renters enjoy using the clean updated kitchen!
What do you think? What color would you paint it? 😉
Lots of Smiles,
Akiyo
